Williams heading to the Sun Belt

Hoover (Ala.) wide receiver Cornelius Williams has decided to play college football in the Sun Belt Conference.
He made the decision following an official visit to Troy this past weekend.

"The facilities were great," Williams said. "The stadium felt like home. (Troy) just felt comfortable to me and the people there were really great."
The 6-foot, 172-pound Williams previously considered Louisiana-Monroe, along with UAB. He visited ULM officially.
Mark Fleetwood was Williams' recruiter of record for the Trojans. Williams' player host during his official visit was Gary Banks .
"(Banks) was a real cool guy and he was really laid back," Williams said.
Williams is a two-star rated prospect. He caught 77 passes for 1,299 yards and 25 touchdowns as a senior this season for Alabama power Hoover High.
