Williams has an in-state leader

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Junior wide receiver Taj Williams of Tallahassee (Fla.) Lincoln already holds offers from Central Florida, Florida, Florida International, Florida Atlantic, Florida State, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Iowa State, Mississippi State, Notre Dame, Ole Miss, and South Florida. At this time, a trio of schools have emerged as early favorites.
"Right now, I am liking Florida, Georgia, and Florida State," Williams said. "I really felt at home at Georgia, I really like the coaches at Florida, and with Florida State, they are right here, in my hometown."

Out of all of his offers, one school is at the top for his services at this point in his recruitment.
"Florida," Williams responded when asked if he had a leader. "The coaches, I really like their receiver coach (Aubrey Hill), the way they run their offense and I think I can fit in there."
During the offseason, Williams was able to visit all three of his leaders as well as some other schools. He is hoping to hit the road during the 2011 college football season to see a few games as well on campuses around the Southeast.
"I am going to go to a couple of Florida games, Florida State, and try to go to a couple of Georgia games," Williams said.
The only specific game mentioned by Williams that he knows he will be attending is when Florida State hosts the nation's top team, Oklahoma, on September 17th.
As for a decision, Williams said that will likely come before he ever plays a game as a senior.
"I am most likely going to commit by the end of this junior year," Williams said.
