Williams favoring Buckeyes

Cornerback Robert Williams of Cincinnati (Ohio) Withrow is taking his recruitment a day at a time and with a favorite school in mind, he's waiting on that special offer to come.
His favorite school, Ohio State, has yet to offer and even though it's one he's hoping for, many other schools such as Illinois, Boston College, Minnesota, West Virginia, and Miami of Ohio have gotten in first offer-wise. Offers from the Buckeyes and Notre Dame are not out of the picture though as it seems.

"They're still coming on strong," Williams said. "Notre Dame said they have a scholarship for me but I had to improve my grades, which I did. Ohio State explained that they have a limited number of scholarships so they're taking it slow."
If the Buckeyes were to get involved, things would dramatically shift when it comes to making a decision.
"I love that school," Williams said. "Ever since I was little I've been watching them. But, if I had to choose today it would be different because I've got to look at the offers I have. I'd probably be looking at Boston College and West Virginia."
"Boston College offered me first – they want me the most from what I can tell."
As for committing on another one of his numerous offers, that could be a ways off.
"I'm not even worried about committing until after the season," Williams said. "I still haven't even decided on visits yet. My coach is supposed to come up with me to West Virginia and Illinois. I'm also looking at a camp stop at Purdue."
At the end of the day, Williams is still very thankful for what he has in front of him. This humble prospect has not lost sight of that along the way.
"First off I guess it saves a lot of money," he said with a laugh. "I've been keeping up my skills all along and it's great getting a chance to meet all these coaches and have these experiences."
Williams is rated the No. 24 overall prospect in the state of Ohio.
