Williams eyeing summer camps

Four-star linebacker Reagan Williams of Jackson, Ohio holds eight offers, but he will look to add to that list this summer through summer camp performances.
"Michigan State, I'll be at their camp June 1st so I am looking forward to that," Williams said. "I know Vanderbilt's is around the ninth. I'm going to get out to some of these places, see what they think of me and see if I can pick up offers from a few more schools."

Williams will likely schedule more camps in the coming weeks. He had coaches from programs across the country through his school this spring interested in seeing him at their camps.
"A lot of coaches have been through - off the top of my head Vanderbilt, Wisconsin, Oregon," Williams said. "A lot of teams came in, wanted to see me and asked me to go to camp. That's what I am trying to feel out now is which ones I want to go to."
Williams also received multiple visits from the schools that have already offered, including Big Five Conference programs Boston College, Indiana and Purdue.
"I hold every offer I have in high regard right now, but Boston College has been really aggressive in reaching out to me as well as Purdue and Indiana," Williams said. "Ohio University, which is 40 minutes away, they have been in twice to talk to coach. I am keeping it open right now and see what else I can pick up."
The 6-foot-2, 235-pound Williams is being recruited for linebacker, defensive end and tight end by different schools.
"I don't know if position is going to factor all that much into my decision," Williams said. "I am really just looking for a team that is going to win."
Williams is targeting an August decision, but also noted that it is a fluid situation and he will make his college choice when he feels the time is right.
