Williams could load up on offers

Folsom, Calif., finished its season undefeated and ended with a 68-7 victory over Oceanside in the state bowl championship this past weekend.
Jonah Williams, a 2016 four-star lineman, was a big part in the team's success and an offense that put up huge numbers, mind-boggling numbers, all season long. Folsom's offense averaged more than 57 points per game.

"It's amazing," Williams said after the win. "It really speaks for our preparation. We worked hard all season and specifically this week.
"We had finals this week and we all worked hard on our finals and made time to have extra film sessions and walkthroughs. All the pieces felt like they were coming together and to come out and see it reflected on the scoreboard is great."
The 6-foot-5, 270-pound prospect plays on both the offensive and defensive lines but he said most of the schools recruiting him are focused on offensive tackle.
Williams, rated as the No. 24 offensive tackle in the 2016 class by Rivals.com, has already landed offers from Arizona, Arizona State, California, Utah, Washington and Washington State. The Sun Devils offered shortly after the state bowl championship victory.
Auburn and Georgia have been two other schools mentioned as showing early interest and Williams said after the state bowl championship win that plenty of others have reached out as well.
"I've been really fortunate," Williams said. "I've heard from a lot of people. I always look at offers as blessings and I never like to think about racking them up. Each one is a huge opportunity and a blessing. I'll see what the off-season brings.
"I'm hearing from a good range of people and I'm excited for the future."
