Williams calls Minnesota visit excellent

Cincinnati (Ohio) Withrow defensive back Robert Williams says his first official visit, a trip to Minnesota, could not have gone much better.
"I'm just leaving the airport now," Williams said when asked about his official visit with the Gophers. "It was excellent.

"I had a lot of fun. I liked the coaching staff. I liked how the team sticks together. And I like the city life. It's like Cincinnati."
However Williams did not commit to the Gophers.
"I want to take my visits and compare them all," he said. "I have Illinois next weekend, West Virginia Dec. 2, and Maryland Dec. 9.
"I don't have a last one yet. I have no idea who that will be. But I'll take all five."
When asked if he has a favorite, Williams said, "If I had to choose tomorrow it would be Minnesota because I just visited there."
Williams has scholarship offers from all the schools on his visit list. Among his other offers are Michigan State, Purdue, Boston College, Louisville, and Miami of Ohio.
The 5-foot-11 and 170-pound Williams intercepted three passes during his senior season. Williams is the No. 26 prospect in the state of Ohio in the Rivals.com player rankings.
