Williams already known nationwide

January has been a busy month for Orlando (Fla.) Jones offensive guard Duaron Williams. He started the month by participating in the Under Armour All-American Combine in Orlando, Fla. and quickly followed that up with a trip to San Antonio, Texas to participate in the U.S. Army National Combine.
The 6-foot-2, 292-pound prospect showed his grit competing against some of the nation's best interior linemen. Even prior to his combine trips, Williams was already on the radar of more than three dozen schools nationwide.

"I hear from quite a few schools," Williams said. "The ones that come after me the most are Florida, Texas Tech, Cincinnati, Florida State, Miami. I am hearing from all over - Nebraska, Rutgers, Louisville, South Carolina. So it is pretty broad out there."
At this time, he has one verbal offer that he knows of.
"I have an offer from Ole Miss that I know of," Williams said. "After that you have to talk to my coach."
While he holds an offer from the Rebels, it is an in-state school that holds an early lead for his services.
"I really like Miami," Williams said. "My coach played there and I just like them a lot."
According to Williams, other schools near the top of his list include Nebraska, Ole Miss, Georgia Tech, Texas Tech, and Florida State.
