Will Vaughn commit to UConn

Two-star safety Robert Vaughn out of North Attleboro, Mass. took his first and what looks to be his only official visit of the season to Connecticut last weekend. Coming out of the visit it appears the Huskies are the team to beat for the 6-foot-0, 183-pounder with 4.5-second speed. When is Vaughn preparing to decide?
"Right now I'm down to Connecticut and Iowa, but Iowa has not offered," he said. "I'm expecting a visit from Iowa's coach Parker tomorrow. I don't really know where that visit is going to go, but I hope to find out about them. I like their defensive backs coach and the fact that they've won the Big Ten two of the last four years, it's also a great school overall."

"I'm expecting coach Johnson from Connecticut to visit my house tomorrow night for an in-home visit. I think we're going to be putting the last touches on a decision."
Last weekend's visit to Connecticut went a long way towards helping the Huskies land the two-star prospect.
"Out of everything on my visit the people stood out most," he said. "I really liked the facilities as they were a lot better than I thought they'd be. I had the best relationship with all the coaches and they have great academics too. One other bonus is that they aren't too far away from home either."
Vaughn expects to officially announce a decision on Saturday.
