Will The Big Game matter to WR

One of the fastest rising prospects in the state of Colorado is Holyoke standout receiver Dusty Sprague. And he proved why in his first game of the season.
Sprague helped Holyoke to a 44-19 victory on Friday night with his spectacular play at the quarterback spot. Yeah, you read right, Sprague played quarterback on Friday night and helped his squad to a huge victory.

“It was a great game,” he said.
What’s also great is his recruiting status.
On Sunday and Monday, Sprague received an impressive array of calls from teams like Colorado, Colorado State, Washington, Harvard and San Diego State.
“All of them have been great,” Sprague said. “Colorado, Colorado State and Washington’s coaches are really great guys. I’ve known them for a while since I camped with those teams. San Diego State was new to me, and their coach seemed to be pretty nice.”
Sprague has offers from Colorado, Colorado State, Washington and now San Diego State is indicating an offer is coming. But the real battle seems to be between CU and CSU – the two schools that locked up on Saturday on the gridiron.
“It was a great win for State,” Sprague said. “I think they’ll get the national respect they deserve now. But the bottom line is that I’m not going to base a decision on who wins one game. The bottom line is how comfortable I feel with the school, the coaches and the players.”
Last week, Sprague said he was nearing a decision and it could be a week or two before he picks. And a week and a few phone calls later, is that still the case?
“I kind of wish I hadn’t said that,” Sprague said. “I don’t really want to put a timetable on it, because I’m still debating and going back and forth. I indeed still might have a choice by next week or some time soon, but I also still might wait even longer.”
