Miami (Fla.) Carol City tight end Laenar Nixon is still tempted to commit to Virginia Tech, but is holding off for now.
“They were just here today,” said the 6-foot-3, 210-pounder. “They’re clearly my favorite, but I’m not ready just yet. I need to see what other options I have.”

Nixon’s Oklahoma visit was pushed back to sometime in January but Nixon will visit Maryland on Dec. 14.
“I’m not sure if I’ll need visits after that,” he said. “Virginia Tech is great, but I need to compare.”
