One of the top wide receivers in the country is Tampa (Fla.) Jefferson’s Andre Caldwell. The 6-foot-2 and 180 pound standout, who has been timed in the 100-meter at 10.39 seconds, has lived up to the hype of his top-billing this spring.
“I returned a punt for 75 yards in our spring jamboree game.” Caldwell said. “Right now I have 17 offers. I would say that Florida, Florida State, Miami, Oklahoma, and Louisiana State are my top five. I don’t have a leader but schools like Florida and Miami have stood out the most in May because their head coaches personally called me on phone.”

“Everybody thinks that I’m going to go to Florida and follow my brother,” Caldwell said. “I’m going to look around first so I can see what school that I will fit in with offensively. I’m looking to make a name for myself.”
This summer Caldwell will not attend any summer camps. His plans are to stay home so he can workout with his teammates.
This fall he’ll make unofficial visits to Miami, Florida State, Oklahoma, and Florida.
