Will Rowan follow brother to Big Ten

Erie (Pa.) Cathedral Prep wide receiver Javon Rowan has been a varsity starter since his sophomore year when he played both wide receiver and running back for Erie East. After transfering to Cathedral Prep for his junior season, Rowan played wide receiver and cornerback.
Rowan, who caught 25 passes for 500 yards and scored seven times this past season, was an all-conference selection.

The 6-foot-1 and 175 pound Javon Rowan is familiar with Big Ten football. Brother Levonne Rowan is a cornerback for the Wisconsin Badgers.
"My top six are Wisconsin, Iowa, Penn State, Pitt, Maryland, and Miami," Javon said. "But there's a lot more I'm looking at.
"I get mail from Boston College, Louisville, Illinois, West Virginia, Miami of Ohio, and Akron.
"I went to a Pitt junior day. I was going to one at Maryland, but I didn't make it.
"I'll probably go to Wisconsin's camp. And maybe Iowa and Pitt."
