Will Mendenhall stay with Illini
"I know one visit for sure," running back Walter Mendenhall said. "I have Illinois Dec. 6."
"I made a verbal commitment to Illinois. But I'll take a couple more visits."

"I'm planning some others like Purdue, Boston College, Northwestern, Indiana, Colorado, those are the ones I'm looking at."
"But right now I'm still committed to Illinois."
Mendenhall said in addition to Illinois, Purdue, Boston College, Northwestern, and Colorado have also offered a scholarship.
The 6-foot-0 and 195 pound Mendenhall, from Niles (Ill.) West, rushed for 1200 yards and scored 18 times during his senior season. Mendenhall is the Rivals.com number 22 running back prospect and has a three star rating.
