Will Mendenhall commit this week
"I didn't go to any camps this summer," running back Walter Mendenhall said. "But I visited some schools. I visited Wisconsin, Illinois, Northwestern, and Northern Illinois."
"My top five is Illinois, Northwestern, Colorado, Purdue, and Northern Illinois. All five offered me."

"And the ones I'm looking at that haven't offered are Michigan State, Nebraska, Kansas State, and Boston College."
"Right now Illinois and Northwestern are my two favorites with Colorado a close third."
"I might decide this week or next week."
The 6-foot-0 and 195 pound Mendenhall, from Niles (Ill.) West, rushed for 1250 yards and scored 17 times during his junior season. He averaged 8.9 per carry.
Mendenhall was an all-conference and all-area selection and is the Rivals.com number 22 running back prospect.
