Will Mabin commit soon

Macedonia (Ohio) Nordonia defensive back Jordan Mabin had been thinking he would soon select a college. And while that may still happen, Mabin says it's also possible he could wait it out.
"I have eight (scholarship) offers now," Mabin said. "I have Pitt, Indiana, Akron, Kent State, Marshall, Eastern Michigan, Bowling Green and Cincinnati."

Mabin is considering all of those schools, but some more than others. He also is interested in a few schools that have not offered.
"I'd say definitely Pitt," Mabin said. "And also Penn State. I went down there a couple weeks ago. Syracuse is another one. And definitely Indiana and Cincinnati.
"I think those are the main ones. I don't have a favorite really. I like them all."
It remains to be seen when Mabin will select a college.
"I was planning to make a decision before the football season started," he said. "But it's up in the air now."
The 5-foot-10 and 178-pound Mabin intercepted two passes and rushed for 1495 yards during his junior season.
"Some schools say I'll play cornerback in college," Mabin said. "Some say running back. Some say it could be either position."
