Will LB commit to Rutgers

It's been over two months since Rivals has heard from Washington Township, N.J. linebacker Ryan D'Imperio. We caught up with the 6-foot-2, 223-pounder to find out what's new and who he has scheduled an official visit with?
"I've scheduled my first official with Rutgers for this weekend," he said. "I've talked to them just about every day and I like the school a lot. I'm hoping to go there and meet the players, see their style of offense and defense and check out the facilities.

"I like their location and they are a pretty strong academic school. The team is also on the uprise and even made it to a bowl this year. Hopefully if I go there I can be part of that to get them even further."
D'Imperio confirmed that Rutgers is his leader at the moment.
"Coach Galiano came for an in-home visit a couple nights ago and it went really well," he said. "They basically talked to me about the program, where I can play, how I'll help the team and what we'll do on my official visit."
The other school the No. 28 inside linebacker is looking at most is Maryland.
"I've been talking to them recently and I like the coaches," he said. "I really like the program prestige too. I know they just missed a bowl this year, but I think they'll get better. I'm planning to set an official up with them, but I don't know when yet."
As for an offer from the Terps, the Maryland coaches haven't really mentioned that to the linebacker prospect in a while.
When is he looking at making a decision?
"I'm not totally sure and have no idea," he said. "It could be next week after my official or the last day of recruiting."
D'Imperio helped Washington Township to a 7-3 record as he rushed for 1,200 yards and 16 touchdowns. He added 50 tackles, 10 for loss, three sacks and an interception on defense as he was named first team all-conference and first team all-South Jersey.
