Will JUCO star stay in the Midwest
Fort Dodge (Iowa) Iowa Central Community College defensive end Jimmy Fennesy, who is from Rock Island, Ill., had an outstanding freshman season. He registered 20 sacks as his team won nine of 11 games.
The 6-foot-4 and 225-pound Fennesy has one more season at Iowa Central Community College before he heads off for a new destination.

"I'll be here one more year," Fennesy said. "Then after that I'll be going to a 4-year college."
Fennesy has a short list of schools in mind right now.
"I've been talking to Arizona State, Purdue, Iowa State, and Iowa," Fennesy said. "That's it for right now."
Fennesy has not had much chance to take a good look at the schools on his list.
"I went to Iowa State on an unofficial visit for a scrimmage game," he said. "That's the only one. I don't have a favorite right now. After next season I'll see what is available."
