Will it be football or basketball for Williams

Schools in the Big Ten have been all over Pontiac (Mich.) Pontiac Northern wide receiver Tim Williams. The 6-foot-3, 195-pounder currently doesn't have any favorites, but grew up a big fan of one of the schools.
"I'm getting interest from Michigan State, Michigan, Iowa, Indiana and Illinois primarily," he said. "I don't have any favorites at this time, but I am a fan of Michigan. I just like that they are my home state school and very competitive."

Besides being a football recruit, Williams is seeing interest from schools on the hardwood as he averages 17-points per game.
"I'm getting interest from a lot of schools in the Mid-American conference including Kent, Western Michigan, Ball State as well as schools like Rutgers and Michigan State," he said. "Right now, I'm not sure what I'm going to do yet because I've been playing basketball for so long and it is my first love, but I'm getting recruited by a lot of schools for football too. If I could play both I'd probably like to, but that's hard to do."
With so many options already presenting themselves, what is Williams looking for out of a school?
"Primarily what I'm looking for is academics since I want to major in communications or business management," he said. "The other big factor for me is location. I'd prefer to play closer to home."
Williams isn't sure what football camps he'll attend this summer, but he's been invited to Boston College and Illinois.
