Will four-star WR sign today

With today being letter-of-intent day for juco transfers there are a lot of nervous college coaches waiting around their fax machines hoping that they receive early Christmas gifts by signing top juco talent. One player who is causing coaches to chew on their nails is four-star wide receiver B.J. Vickers (6-3, 215, 4.5) from Santa Monica (Calif.) City College.
Vickers is just has coveted as a JC prospect as he was as a senior at Venice, Calif., when he had an abundant number of offers.

As a sophomore for SMCC, Vickers caught 52 passes for 1,022 yards and 13 touchdowns.
As a senior at Venice, Vickers accounted for 1,553 receiving yards and scored 14 touchdowns.
No wonder the big physical wide receiver has drawn comparisons to former USC great and now Dallas Cowboy Keyshawn Johnson.
Vickers has narrowed down his colleges to two. Who are the lucky schools?
"I haven't made up my mind," Vickers said. "It is between Cal and Arizona."
"I'm not going to sign today," Vickers said. "But I will sign before Christmas."
"I like Cal's offensive scheme and their coaches," Vickers said. "I also have a good chance to go in there and play right away."
"I have the same reasons for why I like Arizona," Vickers said. "That is what's making this decision so hard."
Vickers is the prototypical wide receiver of the modern age and he will be ready to go in December. That means the lucky team that signs him will have him available for spring ball.
