Will battle for star junior be UM vs OSU

Junior safety Eugene Clifford out of Cincinnati (Ohio) Colerain will be one of the top prospects in the Buckeye state next season. The battle for Clifford's services may be shaping up to be a Michigan-Ohio State tussle.
"I'm getting recruited by Michigan, Ohio State, Wisconsin, Florida State has sent a couple things," Clifford said. "Purdue, Pittsburgh, and Alabama are some others. I can't think of all of them.

"I like all of them. I'm not leaning to any of them right now."
When asked if he has any early scholarship offers, Clifford said, "Michigan has offered me."
Clifford has seen the Wolverines play in person this season and may see them again, as well as the Buckeyes.
"I want to go see Michigan-Ohio State," Clifford said.
The 6-foot-2 and 190-pound Clifford intercepted four passes during his sophomore year. He has six interceptions this season as Colerain is 10-1 and preparing for the big playoff showdown this weekend against Cincinnati St. Xavier. The Bombers are the only team to defeat Colerain, doing so 7-0 at the beginning of the season.
