Wilkins ready for Pac-12 trip

Manny Wilkins was one of the top quarterbacks at the Oakland Elite 11 this spring but the San Marin (Calif.) Novato quarterback in the 2014 class has not yet picked up an offer.
That does not necessarily concern Wilkins since it's so early in his recruitment and he's just focused on playing well and getting himself more exposure.

"I'm not really too worried about the offer stuff because I don't want to have my head swell up that I'm going to get one," Wilkins said.
The 6-foot-3, 185-pound prospect will take his second unofficial visit to Oregon later this month when the Ducks host Stanford. He has already been to Eugene for camp and now he's going to see a game and Wilkins is excited about it.
"I took a tour when I was there for camp and all that and everything is really nice there," Wilkins said.
"The academic buildings are nice. The new football facilities are dope. Everything there is just top of the line. They're building those new facilities so everything there is impressive."
The 2014 quarterback recently attended the Utah State-San Jose State game mainly to watch Utah State's offense since that school has been heavily involved early on. He liked what he saw.
"I thought it was great," Wilkins said. "Their offense is very up-tempo so it was really fun to watch the scoring back and forth.
"I'm not really worried about a school fitting my style really. Utah State is a fast-paced offense so it was very intriguing. I liked it."
Wilkins, who is also hearing from Cal, Fresno State and others, has recently been in touch with Washington State as well.
