Wildcats to host Omaha TE

Omaha (Neb.) Central tight end Nate Prater is preparing to take his first official visit of the year this weekend, now that his season has come to a close.
“I’m still going to K-State this weekend,” the 6-foot-4, 250-pound Prater said. “I am looking forward to that trip. I haven’t been there yet, but I’ve been to several of the others.

“I am going to visit Kansas (Dec. 10) and Iowa State (Dec. 17), too. I’ve been to them on unofficial trips, already.”
Prater also took an unofficial visit this weekend to Norman, Okla.
“I was at the Oklahoma-Nebraska game for an unofficial visit last weekend. I was down talking to the Oklahoma coaches and gave them some senior film. They said they would be in touch whether they were interested or not. Both Oklahoma and Michigan are talking to me about visiting.
“The atmosphere at the Oklahoma game and the fans were great. They were yelling and screaming for their team. It reminded me a lot of the way Nebraska fans are up around here.”
