Wildcats sixth to offer juco lineman

North Dakota State College of Science defensive end Bobby Jones continues to add scholarship offers from schools high on his list. The most recent offer makes six for the South Dakota native.
“Kansas State just offered Bobby a scholarship,” NDSCS assistant coach Mike Shafer said. “He is pretty excited about the news.”

The scholarship offer came just a day after NDSCS recorded a victory over the nation’s No. 12 ranked team, Harper (Ill.) College.
“We just beat Harper Community College this weekend,” Shafer said. “He is really trying to stay focused on our season this year first. He’s excited about the schools recruiting him, but he’s up in the air about things right now.”
The offer from the Wildcats marks the sixth for the 6-foot-5, 275-pounder. He had earlier received offers from Cincinnati, Michigan State, Oregon, South Carolina and Wisconsin.
Jones has official visits lined up with Michigan State (Nov. 5) and Cincinnati (Nov. 19). He will make a decision shortly after taking his official visits and sign with his college choice in December.
