Wildcats secure immediate OL help

Cerritos (Calif.) College offensive center Tom Robinson made only one visit, but he found the place for him.
"I talked to Kansas State today," the 6-foot-5, 290-pound Robinson said. "I told them I was coming to play for them. Coach (Ron) Hudson was real happy."

Robinson will enter K-State in the summer and have two years to play two.
"I went to Fordham out of high school for one year and redshirted," Robinson said. "Then I came to Cerritos and played for two years. I'm eager to get there and play."
Robinson was scheduled to visit San Diego State this weekend, but the Aztec coaches cancelled that visit Wednesday.
"They called and said they got another offensive lineman, so they wouldn't be needing me. That just solidified my decision."
Robinson plans to make the drive to San Diego this Friday to watch his future teammates in action in the Holiday Bowl.
"It is only an hour and 15 minutes. I'll go down there and watch them. It should be a good time."
