Wildcats red hot land another standout

Things are really on the upswing for Mike Stoops and the Arizona Wildcat program. Hot on the heels of an earlier commitment from five-star juco standout Louis Holmes the red hot Wildcats landed one of NorCal's top prospects.
The player is tight end A.J. Simmons (6-3, 255, 4.85) from Oakland (Calif.) Bishop O'Dowd.

"Coach Tim Kish came over to the house tonight and were eating dinner and talking about Arizona," Simmons said. "My Mom and I were asking questions about the schools and the Wildcat program. I was feeling really comfortable about the way things were going."
"I asked my Mom about it and she gave me the nod," Simmons said. "So I decided to get it over with and I committed to Coach Kish and the Wildcats."
"I had narrowed it down to Arizona and Oregon," Simmons said. "It was basically those two schools."
"I just felt more comfortable about Arizona," Simmons said. "I really like the Arizona coaching staff. They are unbelievable people."
"I bought into what Arizona is trying to do as a program," Simmons said. "I also like the people and city of Tucson. The players also made me feel comfortable."
Another nice get for Arizona.
