Wildcats raid JUCO ranks for DT
One very important position of need for the Arizona Wildcats has been at defensive tackle. The Wildcats are woefully low depth wise at the position.
The Wildcats strengthened the defensive tackle department with the committal of Dave Sharp (6-3, 290, 4.85) from Highland (Kan.) Community College.

Sharp has a good motor and a strong up field push. He has good strength and he usually takes on more than one blocker.
Sharp collected 41 tackles, six sacks and five tackles for loss. Sharp is a December grad and is expected to enroll in January. He has 3x2 eligibility.
Sharp is the type of player that former Wildcat coach made a living on. Somewhat underrated with a lot of heart and he’s a JUCO. Arizona has always recruited the JC ranks as good as anyone.
It seems once again the Wildcats are a player on the JUCO ranks.
