Wildcats offer Kansas lineman

Pratt, Kan., offensive lineman Scott Krehbiel picked up two scholarship offers early in the spring. Now, the 6-foot-7, 272-pounder is catching the eyes of more coaches as the spring evaluation period moves forward.
"Kansas State offered me a scholarship a couple weeks ago," Krehbiel said. "They and Colorado State and Kansas have offered me. Oklahoma State and Nebraska have talked to my coach and told him that they would be offering me, but they haven't yet."

Other schools on Krehbiel's list at this point include Arkansas, Colorado and Missouri.
"I am going to the NIKE camp in Manhattan in a couple of weeks," he said. "That is the only one I have finalized. If I go to any others, they will be early in the summer, but nothing is finalized at this point."
Krehbiel's spring time is filled at the golf course.
"I play golf. I haven't been out for track in high school. We've won one of the four tournaments and placed second in two of them. I've shot between 81 and 94 in them. I've placed in all but one of them so far."
Don't look for an early decision from one of the state's top players.
"I won't rush my choice. I will take some of my visits this fall and winter before I make a decision."
