Wildcats looking at Florida RB

Wellington (Fla.) Palm Beach Central running back David Ahola is still waiting on his first scholarship offer, but he has been getting increased attention from a Big Ten program.
"I haven't gotten any offers yet, but Northwestern up in Chicago, I talked to them and they are interested in me," Ahola said.

The Wildcats coaching staff talked with the 5-foot-8, 170-pounder about keeping his academics in order.
"They asked for my grade point average and they said to keep it around a 3.0 and try to keep it up there," Ahola said. "They told me about where the college was and that it was in the Big Ten, the offense and things like that."
Northwestern likes Ahola's versatility.
"They want me as a running back or a slot wide receiver," he said.
Division I-AA Georgia Southern also has been in contact. The Eagles coaching staff has been sending text messages.
Ahola could take one unofficial visit next week when he is in the state of North Carolina during spring break.
"I may go up to N.C. State," he said.
Ahola rushed for 894 yards and 10 touchdowns during his junior season.
