Wildcats lead for Texas top 100 DB

Look out running backs and quarterbacks in Texas. Pearland, Texas, cornerback Quinton Moore has been working hard at becoming a bigger, stronger and faster player. And that could all spell disaster for players with the ball in their hands.
Moore, who is 5-foot-11 and 180 pounds, earned all-district honors as a junior after racking up 115 tackles and two interceptions. He plays safety for the Oilers but could easily project at cornerback. He’s been working hard and has improved a little bit of everything with his game.

“I’ve been running and lifting with a friend after we’re done training at school,” Moore said. “I’ve also been doing a lot of push-ups. Those are great for everything. I’m in great condition, and I’m an even better player now because of it.”
Moore, who is expected to be named a member of the Rivals.com Texas top 100 this week, already has a slew of scholarship offers from teams like Arizona, Arkansas, Baylor, Oklahoma State, Pittsburgh and Texas Tech. He recently received new offers from Kansas and Missouri.
But at this point one team stands out.
“I’m going to visit Arizona for sure,” Moore said. “I like the new coaching staff and they seem like they’re all about the defense. I guess, you could go ahead and put Arizona as the leader.”
