Wildcats impress JC All-American

As the word is getting out it seems like the Arizona Wildcats have had a successful recruiting weekend. One player who had a great time in Tucson was offensive lineman James Tretheway (6-6, 300, 5.2) from College of San Mateo.
"Arizona was really good," Tretheway said. "I ended up committing to the Wildcats."

"I just liked the whole area in general," Tretheway said. "I liked the coaches and the players, plus it is pretty close to home."
The Wildcats land a player with a lot of versatility. He has played guard and tackle on the junior college level, but the Wildcats recruited him as an offensive tackle.
Tretheway is an aggressive player who plays hard whistle-to-whistle. He doesn't stop at one block after he gets rid of one defender, he's down field looking for another.
The talented Tretheway earned first-team juco All-American honors as a sophomore as well as all-state and all-conference.
Tretheway played his high school ball at South San Francisco (Calif.) El Camino.
An added bonus for the Wildcats is Tretheway will graduate in December and be able to participate in spring ball for Arizona.
Tretheway was also getting recruiting attention from Marshall, Wisconsin and Cal.
Good get for Arizona.
