Alpharetta (Ga.) Chattahoochee offensive lineman John Hafferty is scheduled to take his official visit to Kansas State next weekend.
“John goes next weekend,” Hafferty’s father, John Sr., said via cell phone from Hong Kong. “He has always been set to go for quite a while for next weekend.”
Hafferty was selected to play in the Georgia All-Star game later this month.
“After his visit he will get home and prepare for practice for the all-star game,” the elder Hafferty said. “That practice begins the day after Christmas and the game is on December 30.”
Hafferty committed to Kansas State during the summer and will be traveling to Tempe to watch his future teammates in action against Ohio State in the Fiesta Bowl.
