Wilcher commits to the Rockets
While taking an unofficial visit to Toledo this past weekend, Detroit Cass Tech athlete Kishon Wilcher decided that was where he wanted to play his college ball.
The 5-7, 160-pound Wilcher held offers from Toledo and Howard, with Central Michigan and others showing interest. Wilcher decided not to wait around for other offers to come through, however, and has made his decision for Toledo.

"They've got a good school, a good program, good facilities and they are probably going to go to a bowl game this year." said his father, Cass Tech head coach Thomas Wilcher. "He wants to be at a place where they are on the rise and everyone on that team is young."
Wilcher is an athlete prospect who could play slot receiver, cornerback and factor into the return game in college. He runs consistently in the 4.4 range for the 40-yard dash and has scored eight touchdowns in six games thus far this season.
