Wiggins stock on the rise

Wide receiver Kendrick Wiggins had a strong showing at the Nike Camp held recently in Chapel Hill and his stock is on the rise. Are more offers on the way?
The 5-foot-11, 181-pound receiver from Durham (N.C.) Southern Durham runs the 40-yard dash in 4.66 seconds, so he doesn't have ideal size or speed. What he does have is excellent route running ability and a knack for making plays.

He spoke recently about his camp experience on the UNC campus.
"Yes sir, I had a pretty good day," Wiggins said. "I ran some good routes and caught the ball pretty well. I just had some fun. I didn't see any coaches but I'm pretty sure some were there."
Wiggins holds a scholarship offer from East Carolina and even before the camp success he noticed an increase in attention from other schools.
"I'm hearing from Duke, Wake Forest, Virginia and Maryland," he explained. "I think Duke and Wake Forest might be close (to offering) but I'm not sure.
"They want me to go to their camp, and Maryland came by the school and I guess they want me to go camp there. I'll probably go to all of them. They're all even right now. I like all of them."
What will he be looking for when he's at those colleges?
"Location, education, the environment, the fan support and the coaching staff. But right now I'm just working on getting faster and stronger. You can't be too fast or too strong."
Wiggins said he had been in touch with the East Carolina coaches, but their conversations had not centered around football.
