Wideout Setting First Trip

One of the top players in New Jersey has tentatively set up his first visit for Dec. 13. Wide receiver James “Jim Jim” Townsend from Delran (N.J.) Holy Cross is still trying to confirm the date.
“Iowa wanted me to come out on Dec.6, but we might have a state playoff game that weekend. I might set it up for the week after instead, but I’m not positive. Before I make definite plans I want to make sure that I’m comfortable with each school.”

Besides Iowa, James is also very interested in four other schools and has another five that are still in the hunt as well.
“I’m pretty sure that I’ll visit Tennessee, Virginia and Syracuse as well, but things could change. South Carolina is in it as well. I like a lot of schools and have about 10 that I’m still interested in. My top five could change again”
With more than 20 offers, James has changed his top five numerous times. The fleet-footed, sure-handed receiver also mentioned that he likes Boston College, Miami, Virginia Tech and others.
So far this season James has played extremely well. Against Camden High on Sept. 20. he had six catches for 146 yards and two touchdowns.
