Why I picked Georgia

This second installment is from four-star running back Thomas Brown of Tucker, Ga. Brown talks about his recent commitment to Georgia and why he picked the Dawgs.
Choosing a college was the hardest decision I have had to make in my life so far.
In this recruiting process, it gets even harder to choose a school when they all seem like great organizations to be apart of, and you start to form relationships with your recruiters and other coaches.
It got so tough for me that at one point I was going to just stop worrying about it, focus all my attention on school and my senior season, and decide where I was going to go after the season.
But that didn't work.
So I decided that the best thing for me to do was narrow down my choices and commit early.
I took unofficial visits to Maryland, Wake Forest, Auburn, Florida State and Georgia.
After talking it over with close friends and family members, I realized that I could not really go wrong with any of my choices.
In the end, I choose Georgia because they had everything I was looking for. They have tradition, a stable coaching staff, great facilities, great fans, and I feel that I can come in and make an immediate impact on the program.
Coach (Mark) Richt is doing great things, along with the rest of the coaching staff, and I want to be apart of it.
In committing early, I'm taking a lot of pressure of myself which in turn is allowing me to focus more on my upcoming season. I know I made the right decision and can’t wait to be a Dawg.
