Whos the top fullback in the West

You could start a good debate over who the top fullback in California will be next year between Orange Lutheran's Pat Roxas and Loyola, Los Angeles George Hypolite. Both are bulldozing runners, strong blockers and can catch the ball well out of the backfield. At this time, we would give a slight edge to Roxas although it's a very close call.
Roxas brings a lot to the table not just from a football standpoint, but he's such a high character guy off the field as well. At the recent UCLA one day camp, Roxas measured in at 5-11, 228 pounds, clocked a 4.7 in the 40, 4.5 in the shuttled and jumped 28 inches in the vertical.

"We talked with Coach Bieniemy after the camp and he said he really liked Pat," Ramon Roxas, Pat's father said. "Pat likes Coach B a lot, he said he's strict and all business during practice but a great guy outside the field. That's the kind of coach he's looking for and would like to play for. We know they have already offered a fullback, Mark Paschal but we're still hopeful things can work out for Pat as well."
Roxas will camp with his other co-favorite, USC June 28 and 29 for the Trojans senior camp. As a junior, the fullback rushed 58 times for 354 yards and scored seven touchdowns. He's a devastating blocker, the top blocking fullback in the West region and runs with power as well.
