Who leads for Goddard

The recruiting race for one of North Carolina's finest athletes is beginning to heat up, and some of the nation's top programs are battling more local schools for his services. Does anyone have an edge?
"No, things are pretty much open at this point," said cornerback Trimane Goddard. "I'm still looking at all my options. I like North Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and Florida State, and those are the top four. But I can't single out any of those as a number one."

The Robersonville (N.C.) Roanoke native is a 5-foot-11, 180-pound athlete and has offers from all four schools he mentioned. He has visits to North Carolina (Jan. 9), Tennessee (Jan. 16) and Florida State (Jan. 23) in the near future, and has already visited Virginia. What will be the biggest factors in his decision?
"I'm going to look at everything, not just one or two different things that impress me. Academics are still a top priority, and I'd like to play on a team that I think has a good coaching staff and can be successful while I'm in college."
Goddard represented North Carolina in the Shrine Bowl and is a four-star prospect as ranked by Rivals100.com.
