Who leads for Bowman

Linebacker Andrew Bowman has that combination of strength, speed and instincts that coaches love in a player. He has offers from some of the top programs in the region. Does he have a leader?
"I would say that Virginia is my leader right now," said Bowman. "They're an in-state school and they've done a good job recruiting me. Their coaching staff seems to be doing a good job of putting together recruiting classes and getting them to play well just about every week."

Bowman may take an official visit to Virginia the weekend of Nov. 28, and he's planning on visiting Virginia Tech on Dec. 12. Is Virginia his clear leader?
"No, I'm still looking at a few other schools," he said. "Virginia Tech, North Carolina, Tennessee and Purdue are places I like a lot. I really want to go to all of them at some point -- especially the out-of-state schools. Tennessee is supposed to be an incredible place for football. UNC supposedly has a great campus and college environment, and everything I've heard about Purdue is good too."
All those schools have offered Bowman. Is he nearing a decision?
"I wouldn't say so. I'll probably go on my official visits before I make a decision that's final. Since I know I'll be doing that at least through December it might not be for a while."
Through five games Bowman has led Richmond (Va.) Hermitage to a perfect 5-0 record. From his inside linebacker position he has recorded 45 tackles, seven tackles for loss and two sacks.
