"Notre Dame," said Robinson head coach Mark Bendorf. "It was a real struggle for him and a very hard decision. Ohio State was very tempting for him and obviously Virginia Tech and Virginia were attractive as well, so he had a tough decision to make."

Anastasio, a 6-foot-2, 190-pounder, felt the Irish were the best fit of the four.
"Even as recently as this morning there were still some questions," Bendorf said. "But every time we came back to it, Notre Dame came up as the place to be. He'll start off as a flanker there but I think Chase falls into that athlete category where he can play a multitude of positions."
