Whittaker looking into official visits

Pittsburgh (Pa.) Penn Hills wide receiver Chaz Whittaker is beginning to plan out official visits. Where is the 6-foot-3, 180-pounder headed in the near future?
"I want to start my visits in October," he said. "I want to go to West Virginia when they play LSU. I'd also like to go to Pittsburgh when they play Notre Dame (October 1st as well).

"I'll probably be setting officials to West Virginia and Toledo for visits."
At this time, Whittaker isn't positive on the exact dates he'll be headed out.
Coincidentally, Whittaker states those two schools are sticking out.
"I'm liking West Virginia and Toledo a lot," he said. "I also like Cincinnati, but I'm not sure where I stand with them since they haven't offered.
"I like West Virginia and Toledo cause they show the most interest. I like both of the schools and coaches and they are not that far away from home."
Whittaker reports four scholarships at this time from Pittsburgh, West Virginia, Temple and Toledo.
Despite a 0-2 start, the wide receiver prospect is playing well even while changing positions mid-season.
"I've been playing pretty well," he said. "I had a touchdown against St. Edwards and I also moved to quarterback this season since our quarterback went down.
"I was 10-of-12 against Gateway for 198-yards and two touchdowns. I can tell I'm smarter on the field, I recognize what defenses do and I'm just making myself a playmaker."
