Whittaker is lining up first official

Pittsburgh (Pa.) Penn Hills wide receiver Chaz Whittaker claims a top four. The 6-foot-3, 180-pounder is in the process of working out his first official visit just after the season.
"I'm most likely going to schedule my first official to West Virginia," he said. "It will probably be around the first week of December.

"That's the only one I've kind of scheduled so far and I'll schedule more after that."
Why the Mountaineers first?
"They are in my top four right now and I just like the school a lot," he said. "I like the environment and the coaching staff."
According to Whittaker West Virginia sticks out from the top four, but the rest of the schools are also his offers including Temple, Toledo and Pittsburgh.
"Those schools showed interest in me early and showed me the most love too."
The two-star prospect continues to get interest from Penn State, Michigan State and Florida State as well.
Though he hasn't taken officials, Whittaker has been to West Virginia and Pittsburgh this season on unofficial visits.
"I liked their games," he said. "I love West Virginia's environment there. The fans are so into it and it's loud.
"Pittsburgh is like a game environment too. The thing I like about Pittsburgh is in the fourth quarter the song they've got. I like the tradition at Pitt."
