Whittaker goes in-depth on choice

It flew under the radar, but wide receiver Chaz Whittaker has made a commitment. The 6-foot-3, 180-pounder confirmed that he gave his pledge to West Virginia.
"I made a verbal commit to West Virginia about a month and a half ago," he said. "I talked to Coach Dunlap and then Coach Holgorsen. They were really excited to have me.

"What made me decide was when I went to the LSU game, I just fell in love with the environment and how the fanbase is. I also like how the offense disperses the ball and they use the safety."
Dunlap was a factor as well for Whittaker.
"I like Coach Dunlap, he's a cool guy. He gives me good advice. West Virginia is a big family."
Whittaker plans to take his official in the coming weeks to Morgantown.
Meanwhile, he noted that there is a chance he could still consider other schools.
"I'm looking around still, but I'll probably stay with West Virginia. I might take other visits though, nothing is set right now."
Whittaker earned nominations to the Super 60 game and the Chesapeake Bowl because of his player this season.
"I thought I played pretty well. I got bigger, faster and learned the game more this year. I became more competitive."
