Whittaker claims three offers

Pitt was the first school to offer wide receiver Chaz Whittaker, a local prospect.
The 6-foot-3, 180-pound receiver from Pittsburgh (Pa.) Penn Hills picked up an offer from the Panthers around the beginning of the summer and on Friday he said the offer is still on the table if he wants to accept it. While he's certainly still interested in Pitt there's some emerging competition.

"I also have offers from West Virginia and Toledo," Whittaker explained. "Those probably came around the beginning of July."
Over the past couple of months Whittaker has been to Pitt, Purdue and Notre Dame.
Despite the offers it's too early for Whittaker to talk about favorites.
"They're all about the same," he said.
"I want to take some official visits and probably decide around the middle of the season.
"I want to get out to West Virginia and I want to get out to Syracuse and probably Toledo for official visits. I might go back to Maryland, too."
