Whitehead up to four offers

Three-star wide receiver Tony Whitehead of Cottondale (Ala.) Paul Bryant picked up two more offers recently. The 6-foot-2, 208-pounder plans to take in a couple camps to his favorites in the near future as well.
"It's going good," he said. "I just picked up two offers recently from UAB and Middle Tennessee State. I'm up to four offers."

Already with offers from both Mississippi State and Mississippi, Whitehead will look to gather some new information on his two newest additions.
"I don't really know much about them," said Whitehead. "I guess I'll have to get down there and visit them to see how they run their offenses and see where I can fit in at."
In the meantime, Whitehead is hitting the camp circuit starting Wednesday.
"I'm going up to Alabama's camp this Wednesday and probably Mississippi State," he said. "Hopefully I get my offer from Alabama. I've got to show them my skills. They really want me to come to camp to show them what I can do. I'm going to try my best to impress."
Whitehead has always been high on the Tide.
"You know, I grew up a Bama fan and that's a dream school," he said. "I like how they run their offense and the coaching. I have a really great relationship with Nussmeier. He shows me good love and all the coaches push you to work hard. You're guaranteed to work hard."
More camps will likely come after that to Auburn and Ole Miss.
Aside from Alabama sticking out, a couple other schools are high on Whitehead's list.
"I actually like Mississippi State and Auburn," he said. "Mississippi State I've been watching their spring game and I love that offense. They throw the ball a lot and that's what I'm looking for, a throwing offense. I went down there and they love me down there. They've shown me good love, plus they were my first offer. Auburn I went down to their spring game and they are throwing the ball well. They are really interested in me. I think they will be the next to offer me. I've talked to Coach Troop and I fit in down there too."
