White waiting on Iowa State

Iowa State has parted ways with coach Paul Rhoads and that could definitely affect recruits as National Signing Day inches closer.
For three-star athlete Lawrence White, his commitment to the Cyclones still stands and he's going to play out the rest of his season, wait to see what happens next at Iowa State and then make his decisions from there.

The Bakersfield (Calif.) Ridgeview prospect does not sound like someone who is going to make any snap judgments in the coming weeks.
"My commitment stands right now," White said.
"I'm just going to focus on my football team and finish the season. Once my season is over, I will handle this whole situation and by that time maybe we'll have a better idea of who is coming to fill the spot."
White has been committed to Iowa State since late September and he made his pledge a few weeks after his official visit in Ames.
The Rhoads news did not come as a complete surprise but it will be something White will consider as his recruitment moves forward.
The Central California standout has some other options - and could even see his recruitment pick up in the coming weeks - but he's not going to figure anything out for sure at least until his senior season wraps up.
He's hoping Iowa State makes some coaching decisions in that time as well so he knows where everything stands.
"I still have offers from Washington State, Eastern Washington, Fresno State and New Mexico so we'll see what happens next," White said.
