White visits Temple

Since de-committing from Toledo earlier this summer, Detroit Cass Tech linebacker William White has been reevaluating his offer list. Temple is among the schools that have offered, and he visited there this past weekend.
"That was not my first time visiting there because my dad is originally from New Jersey," White said. "I talked to a few coaches there and also attended the camp, where I did well. They made a good, strong impression."

The Temple camp was the only one White attended all summer. He had an offer from the Owls before that camp. He has also been offered by Buffalo, Indiana, Miami (Ohio) and Toledo.
"I am just weighing out my options right now and seeing how my senior season goes," White said. "I really don't know what I want to do. I want to make sure I make the right decision right now so I am going to take my official visits and see how it goes."
Summer camp will start at Cass Tech soon, but White is hoping to squeeze in a quick visit to Indiana before his own season gets rolling.
"I talked to the linebackers coach and probably am going to attend the practice on Sunday," White said. "I have to talk to my dad about it because we just came back from that long trip to Philadelphia."
The 6-foot-1, 215-pound White is hoping to have a few more offers to choose from when he does make his decision, and expects his senior season to help him achieve that attention.
"I still feel I am under the radar," he said. "I know I am the best, now I have to prove it to others."
