White throws for Nebraska staff

Brevin White is just getting started with the recruiting process but he's taking every opportunity possible to get noticed like when he worked out at Nebraska's satellite camp in Southern California on Friday night.
It was a tremendously valuable experience for the 2018 quarterback from Mission Hills (Calif.) Alemany and he hopes the Huskers stay in touch as things move forward.

"It was fun," White said. "There was a good crop of quarterbacks with Tristan (Gebbia) and Patrick (O'Brien) and we were all working out there and competing.
"Coach (Mike) Riley was overlooking the quarterbacks when we were doing footwork drills and one-on-ones. Coach (Danny) Langsdorf was really working with us on our footwork and he was more hands-on. He was showing us how they do their footwork and helping us with our mechanics and our drops."
White already has an offer from Arizona State -his brother, Brady, signed with the Sun Devils in the last recruiting class - and the 2018 prospect is really looking for more exposure.
He had an excellent time at Nebraska's camp and with Riley's reputation from his days at Oregon State White hopes the Huskers stay seriously involved with him.
"My idea for getting down there was to just get in front of coach Riley and all the coaches," White said. "You don't get an opportunity like that every day. It's such a good coaching staff so I took the opportunity to get in front of them and see if they're interested. Hopefully, they come after me later in the recruiting process as I become a junior and senior in high school.
"An offer from them would mean a lot to me. He's one of the best coaches in the country. What he did at Oregon State is just awesome. Now that he's going to Nebraska I would definitely take a look at that. I know he's going to do big things there. Since he's there I would definitely go and look at Nebraska. That's one of the biggest programs so it would mean a lot."
Other than his offer from Arizona State, White said Washington, San Diego State, USC, Arizona, Miami, Notre Dame, Northwestern and Oregon State are all interested. He plans to throw for USC and Cal in the coming weeks.
