White re-opens his recruitment

Detroit Cass Tech linebacker William White committed to Toledo over BCS offers back in the spring, but the three-star prospect de-committed from the Rockets recently and will take another look at his recruitment.
"They are still in the mix," White said of Toledo. "I told them I am still young and didn't really take any visits, so they understood."

A factor in White opening up his recruitment was the continued interest, and new offers, from other Division I programs.
"I got offered by Miami (Ohio), Temple University and Buffalo," White said. "Those were schools that had just seen me off my film."
White now plans to follow up on those offers by making an unofficial visit to Temple on July 26 and one to Buffalo on Aug. 3.
"I have a little familiarity with Buffalo," White said. "We have some former teammates down there - Brandon Berry and William Rembert - and I talk to those guys a lot. They tell me about the University and the coaching staff."
Indiana was the lone BCS offer White held before committing to Toledo, and he continues to maintain contact with the Hoosiers.
"I communicate with the new linebacker coach because recently the other linebackers coach left," White said. "I haven't talked about going down there."
White will be attending Ohio State's Friday Night Lights camp on July 26 and a Cincinnati camp on July 19, however. He also plans to make official visits in the fall.
