White picks up two BCS offers

Pickerington (Ohio) Central receiver Patrick White has had a very good few weeks. After dominating at the Columbus NIKE Training Camp, the 6-foot, 175-pounder has started to pick up more and more big-time offers.
With offers already from Cincinnati, Indiana and Akron on the table, White added two more very impressive BCS offers this week.

"I got an offer from Oregon on Monday," White said. "The offer came in the mail. I called the today and left a message. I am going to try and call them later tonight and talk to some of the coaches."
White said the Oregon offer definitely caught his eye.
"When Michigan played them I thought they looked great," White said. "The facilities up there are of the chart. I can't wait to meet the coaches and take a visit to Oregon hopefully."
White also received another top-flight offer on Wednesday.
"I got offered by Kansas today," White said. "Ed Warinner talked to my coach and said the official offer is in the mail and it should be here tomorrow."
And it looks like Kansas also has quickly made a nice impression on White.
"They went to the Orange Bowl last year and won," he said. "They are a program on the rise. I am going to take a look at them and take a visit for sure. That's a place I definitely want to check out and see in person."
Illinois, Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State and West Virginia remain other schools still showing heavy interest in White. He still has plans on attending several camps this summer and possibly increasing his offer list even more.
"I am going to Ohio State's Senior camp, and I am going to Illinois camp," he said. "Then on June 29th, I am going to West Virginia."
