White making plans

Springhill (La.) North Webster Rivals250 standout Devin White released a top ten of Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Florida State, Georgia, LSU, Miami, Ole Miss, Texas A&M, and UCLA this summer, and he is keeping them each at the same level right now.
He is not ready to name a favorite or list of favorites among his top schools right now, but he is taking a few unofficial visits. His first unofficial visit of the season was to Dallas for the Alabama-Wisconsin game at AT&T Stadium.

"I really didn't know what the team was going to look like because of the quarterback play but the atmosphere was crazy," White said. "It felt like it was 100-percent Bama fans in there as loud as it was. I think they played well. The running backs played tremendously. From Kenyan Drake to Derrick Henry, they both played well. That was like a positive thing. You could tell they have a good o-line and they like to run the football."
He has not taken another visit since then, and he does not have a list of games he wants to attend. However, he may check out a game this coming weekend.
"I really don't know," White said. "I just know I could possibly go to LSU this weekend, but I really don't have them lined up. If it looks like its going to be a good game or whatever the circumstances that's how I choose if I'm going to go. And if I'm off or something because they have to fit into my schedule too."
As he looks to take a few unofficial visits, he is also looking to narrow his list. He does not know exactly when he plans to make cuts, but he does have a time frame in mind.
"I want to have it trimmed by at least the end of December because I want to take all my visits in January," White said. "I'll have it down by the end of December or early January."
He may not have any leaders, but one person continues to recruit him harder than any other out there.
"Shea Patterson has been coming on extra strong," White said. "We're still brothers, family, however you put it we're still the same. We talk every day or every other day and every Friday he wishes me good luck and when he's playing I wish him the best."
White is currently ranked No. 166 in the Rivals250, No. 12 in the Louisiana Preseason Top 55, and he is the nation's No. 1 fullback prospect.
